At The Wood Stove Shop, we are dedicated to providing a reliable and cost-effective delivery service to ensure that your purchase reaches you safely and promptly. Unlike many other retailers, we offer a FREE standard delivery service for all of our products to all mainland UK postcodes. We believe that purchasing large items like wood stoves shouldn’t come with unexpected extra charges, which is why we've committed to keeping delivery as hassle-free as possible.

Standard Delivery Commitments

We work hard to ensure your items arrive on time, but please note that delays can occasionally occur due to unforeseen circumstances, such as driver shortages or local disruptions. In the event of any delay, we will promptly update you and work closely with you to achieve the best outcome.

Important Note:
We strongly recommend that you do NOT book contractors, plumbers, or fitters until your goods have arrived and been checked. Unavoidable delays or last-minute issues could impact your planned installation schedule.

Delivery Information

  1. FREE Delivery to mainland UK postcodes.
  2. Deliveries are conducted by pallet services or couriers depending on the size of the product. Most pallet delivery vehicles are the size of a fire engine. If your property has restricted access for large vehicles, please inform us beforehand to avoid complications.
  3. Drivers will deliver goods to the most accessible location on your property and use pallet trucks for heavy items. Unfortunately, they cannot enter homes or navigate obstacles such as gravel paths or steps.
  4. Ensure all goods are thoroughly inspected upon delivery, and any issues are reported promptly to us. Our contact details are provided at the bottom of this page.

What to Expect Upon Delivery

  • Drivers will ask you to sign for the goods at the time of delivery. Please inspect the goods carefully and notify us immediately of any visible damage.
  • Goods should be thoroughly checked within 48 hours of delivery. Any issues reported after this period may limit our ability to resolve them effectively.
  • If you're unavailable during the scheduled delivery time and request the driver to leave the goods unattended, The Wood Stove Shop cannot take responsibility for damages incurred thereafter.

Delivery Charges:

FREE Delivery to UK Mainland: We offer FREE one-man delivery for your order to all mainland UK postcodes.

FREE Delivery to Northern Ireland and the Isle of Wight: We currently offer FREE one-man delivery to Northern Ireland and the Isle of Wight.

Deliveries to the Isle of Man: For deliveries to The Isle of Man, a delivery charge of £90.00 will apply.

Failed Delivery

If you are not present for delivery and the driver cannot access your property, you may incur a redelivery charge of £50.

Order Cancellation Upon Delivery

If you decide to cancel your order at the point of delivery and request that the driver return the item, we can arrange for this. In such cases, a deduction of £140.00 will be applied to your refund to cover the delivery, handling, and return costs already incurred.

Amendments After Dispatch

Once your order has been dispatched, cancellations or amendments will be treated as returns. Any associated costs, such as shipping and redelivery fees, will be in accordance with our Returns Policy.

Delays and Updates

Ongoing industry-wide issues, such as driver shortages and logistical challenges, may impact delivery times in certain areas. The Wood Stove Shop works tirelessly with our delivery partners to mitigate these challenges and will keep you updated regarding any potential delays.

  • Refrain from scheduling installation services until after your goods arrive and are thoroughly inspected.
  • Check delivery confirmation emails to confirm any restrictions or updated delivery expectations for your area.

Please note that the following lead times are approximate and may vary depending on factors such as order processing and local courier services.

United Kingdom: Customers in the United Kingdom can expect their orders to arrive within 7-10 working days, unless otherwise stated on the product page.  We work diligently to ensure swift processing and dispatch of your items to minimise any delays.
