We offer Free Standard Delivery via a single-driver service. Your order will arrive on a vehicle approximately the size of a fire engine. If your location has limited access, such as narrow roads, low bridges, or tight driveways, please inform us in advance so we can plan accordingly.

The delivery vehicle is equipped with a tail lift, allowing the driver to safely lower your palletised goods. Each order is securely packed onto a pallet and maneuvered with a pallet truck. While the driver will bring it as close as possible to your property, the pallet truck requires a solid, level surface to operate. It cannot be moved over gravel, steps, steep inclines, or uneven terrain. Please ensure there is at least a 1-metre-wide clear access point for the pallet.

Important: Our delivery drivers are not insured to unpack goods or move items inside your home.

Additional Items: Fitting Kits and Liner Packs may arrive separately via courier, often on the same day.

Delivery Times & Scheduling

If an item is marked as “7 to 10 day delivery,” this is the fastest available timeframe, excluding weekends. When placing your order, you’ll be prompted to select your preferred delivery date. Please note that offshore deliveries require additional transit time; we’ll contact you directly to confirm arrangements.

Deliveries are scheduled for weekdays only (Monday to Friday), typically between 9:00 AM and 6:00 PM.

⚠️ Do not schedule tradespeople (e.g., plumbers, fitters, or contractors) until you have received your delivery in full. While we aim to deliver on time, unexpected delays can occur, and we want to help you avoid unnecessary disruption or costs.

This policy gives you 14 days to decide whether to keep the item or return it for a refund.

Our returns policy aligns with the Consumer Contract Regulations, effective 13/06/2014. These regulations grant customers the unconditional right to cancel online, phone, or catalogue orders within 14 days of delivery. To exercise this right, simply notify us via email or letter within this period. Unfortunately, we cannot process cancellations over the phone.

  • Items must be returned in their original packaging and in a good, unused condition.

We advise photographing the product before returning it to document its condition. Please note, refunds exclude additional delivery services if the return is due to unsuitability.

2) Receive Instructions
Our team will provide detailed instructions, including how to package the item securely and any associated costs.

Collection Cost/Options

Arranged by Us: For large or heavy items, we can arrange collection. The fees for this service are:

  • Parcel Collection: £50 per parcel
  • Pallet Collection: £150 per pallet

Items must be packaged securely. Palleted items must be strapped to prevent damage. Our team will guide you through this process. Collection charges will be deducted from your refund.

Arranged by You: You may return items yourself. Ensure they are packaged securely and contact us for the appropriate return address.

Inspection and Refund
Returned goods are inspected for resalable condition. Refunds are processed within 7-10 days after receipt. If items are not in acceptable condition, deductions may apply.

Damaged or Faulty Products

If your item arrives damaged or develops a fault, follow these steps:

Inspect the item upon delivery and refuse it if the damage is evident. Notify us immediately by phone at 07763 619461 or email orders@thewoodstoveshop.co.uk.

If damage is discovered after delivery, contact us within 48 hours.

Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, faults reported within 30 days qualify for a full refund, repair, or replacement. For faults reported after 30 days, we’ll work with the manufacturer to resolve the issue.
